About Us
Midlands Community Foundation (MCF) is here to serve and add value to donors’ philanthropic needs by providing them an opportunity to “invest in the power of community.” It is our goal to identify current and emerging issues, channel resources to address community needs, and help prepare for the future.
MCF Mission
The mission of Midlands Community Foundation is to be a catalyst for lasting impact in Sarpy and Cass counties and to give opportunities to organizations and individuals to pursue their charitable goals.
Who We Are
MCF is a community foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in Sarpy and Cass counties, as well as surrounding areas. Through partnerships with local organizations, donors, and volunteers, we address critical needs and invest in initiatives that create lasting, positive change. Our efforts are focused on ensuring that the resources we provide have a meaningful impact on the communities we serve.
We fulfill our mission through a variety of programs, including grants, discretionary giving, and matching opportunities, as well as the establishment of charitable funds. Our Board of Directors, comprised of individuals from the Sarpy and Cass county regions, shares a deep commitment to our cause. Every day, we prioritize accountability, responsibility, accessibility, and loyalty to both our donors and the broader community.
in 1994
Founded in 1994, Midlands Community Foundation has supported local organizations with over $12 million in gifts and grants. The Foundation is committed to serving nonprofit organizations for the betterment of the community.
grants
MCF awards grants to non-profit organizations within its Sarpy and Cass counties to address community needs, promote well-being, and foster positive change. Our focus is on programs and services in the areas of arts and culture, community and economic development, education, health, and human services.
Events
MCF raises dollars for its core fund through two major events: the Annual Golf Tournament and the Annual Gala, which directly benefit nonprofit organizations providing programs and services in Cass and Sarpy counties.
