The purpose of the Fund is to encourage, solicit, receive and use charitable contributions and the income derived therefrom (even to the point of exhaustion of principal) in support of the current and future needs of Gretna LaCrosse and its mission and vision.
Mission:
Gretna Lacrosse is dedicated to organizing and promoting the sport of lacrosse within the Gretna, Nebraska school district while fielding competitive teams at the high school and youth levels. Gretna Lacrosse is committed to honoring the game by instilling values of sportsmanship and integrity in an environment that places team accomplishment over personal achievement. Gretna Lacrosse develops leaders through athletic endeavors and scholastic achievement while emphasizing the importance of community service.
Vision:
Gretna Lacrosse will start as a boys’ JV program affiliated as a club sport within the Gretna School District for the 2023/24 year. The team will expand into boys’ varsity and JV teams the following year, while continuing to pursue growth for youth and girl’s teams in the Gretna School District.
