Midlands Community Foundation (MCF) has awarded grants totaling $85,305 to 28 non-profit organizations serving Sarpy and Cass counties:
The grants will support a variety of programs and initiatives in MCF’s areas of focus including arts, community and economic development, education, health, and human services.
“MCF is honored to support nonprofits meeting such a wide variety of community needs,” said Executive Director Diane Knicky. “Through our grants program, we’re able to make a meaningful difference across Sarpy and Cass counties in a truly comprehensive way — thanks to the generous donors who give to MCF each year. We’re deeply appreciative of their support, which makes it possible for us to strengthen our communities.”
This is the first of two grant distributions for Midlands Community Foundation’s fiscal year. The next grant deadline will be February 1, 2026, with funds distributed in April.
The mission of Midlands Community Foundation is to be a catalyst for lasting impact in Sarpy and Cass counties and to give opportunities to organizations and individuals so that they can pursue their charitable goals.
