The purpose of the fund is to support the current and future needs of families who have lost a loved one unexpectedly. The fund’s assistance to families may include, but is not limited to, funeral expenses, food, vehicle loan payments, and rent or mortgage payment assistance. The fund also will provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that provide bereavement and grief counseling or daily or weekend retreats to individuals, parents, siblings, and family members dealing with the loss of a loved one.
